About the artist

The term «Spontaneous Realism», which the internationally renowned Austrian artist VOKA himself created, captures the essence of his artistic works collected worldwide. VOKA creates his works from an unrestrained, inner dynamism by literally setting large-format canvases in motion with expressive colour movements, complementary contrasts and targeted brushstrokes. Whether urban subjects, such as New York or Paris, portraits of famous personalities, such as Marilyn Monroe or Jimi Hendrix, landscapes or scenes from life - the immense power is revealed in every brushstroke.
