EXCLUSIVE REPRESENTATION | Grabner Vasja

About the artist

Vasja Grabner, born in Slovenia in 1976, is an artist, painter, draftsman and designer who subtly deals with the areas of human thought, consciousness and the construction of reality in his works. His creations are based on the findings of modern psychology, science and philosophy, which he transfers to the visual realm. In his works, he explores how the brain interprets what the eyes see, challenging the viewer to question their own beliefs and transcend the mental frameworks they have inherited from society.

The majority of Grabner's work focuses on highly aesthetic and hyperrealistic painting with an exceptional sense of detail. His works are thoughtful thought experiments that test the viewer's beliefs and invite deeper reflection.

Grabner's works have been exhibited in renowned museums such as MEAM in Barcelona, where he was also a finalist in the global Modportrait competition in 2020 and 2022. His work has an international presence and he lectures at prominent international events and universities, where he shares his research on thought processes and the construction of reality.
